Mississippi Gaming Commission Let Casinos Decide

As Hurricane Zeta headed toward the Mississippi coast, the Mississippi Gaming Commission announced it will not mandate that coastal casinos shut down. The commission urged the properties to discourage patrons or staff from arriving or leaving during harsh weather until conditions were safe for travel.

Several individual casinos did close Wednesday, October 28 but most reopened the next day.

Those that remained open include Golden Nugget Casino and Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi.
