Mississippi’s Gulfside Announces Resort Partners

Biloxi-based Gulfside Casino Partnership announced new partnerships with five Arkansas firms to work on its proposed $254 million River Valley Casino Resort in Pope County.

Despite Cherokee Nation Businesses’ challenge of its casino license, pending in Arkansas Supreme Court, Biloxi-based Gulfside Casino Partnership is moving forward on its proposed $254 million River Valley Casino Resort in Pope County.

The company recently announced new partnerships with five Arkansas-based companies: Curtis H. Stout, Inc., Middleton Heating & Air, Stephens Insurance, Westrock Coffee and Russellville-based Barrett & Associates. Last month, Gulfside announced Conway-based Nabholz Construction would be one of its general contractors.

The casino-resort will feature 80,000 square feet of gaming space, 500 hotel rooms, dining options and outdoor entertainment space. The facility will create 1,500 jobs with a $60.5 million annual payroll.
