Mobile Gaming Growing in China

China's mobile gaming market in 2013 was worth more than $ 1.84 billion, about one-eighth the country’s total gaming market.

Mobile gamers spent more than .84 billion in China, accounting for about an eighth of the country’s total gaming market government officials said at a recent gaming-industry summit.

Mobile gaming gained over 246 percent year on year in 2013 and is increasing due to better mobile devices, as well as an improved 3G network and license for the 4G network, officials said.

China is supporting the industry in both key projects and policy, to boost innovation and combat illegal practices, officials said.
