The decrease in business in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic led the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort to close each Monday and Tuesday. In addition, the casino has established new table game hours: Fridays from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.
“While it is a difficult decision, it is the most fiscally responsible way to scale our operation to match our customer’s attendance patterns,” said General Manager Emily Lauzon.
The rest of the casino hours will run from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., according to WWNY.
