Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, the casino arm of Connecticut’s Mohegan tribe, has hired three new executives: Drew M. Kelley, SVP and CFO; Barbara Kenney, SVP and chief human resources officer; and Richard Lindsay, SVP and chief development officer.
Mario Kontomerkos, chief executive officer of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, said in a statement, “Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment is pleased to have Drew M. Kelley, Barbara Kenney and Richard Lindsay join our team of senior executive leaders to support and oversee the continued development of our company throughout the U.S. and abroad.” He added, “As MGE develops into the premier global gaming and entertainment company over the coming years, the investment of time and effort we are dedicating to forming a highly experienced and skilled senior executive team will undoubtedly result in solidifying our position as a worldwide industry leader in integrated resort experiences.”
Kelley has a background in investment banking with a specialization in gaming, hospitality and leisure, including serving as interim CEO of ARC Group Worldwide. He will report directly to the CEO and provide leadership on all facets of MGE’s financial activities, with an eye toward accelerating growth.
Kenney will develop MGE’s global human capital strategy in her role as senior vice president overseeing human resources. She will also work with the CEO to provide strategic direction, tactical planning and operational insight. She previously served as VP of human resources for the Hartford Financial Services Group.
Lindsay will be in charge of overseeing, directing and manager business development and growth opportunities for the company, both domestically and globally. He will work with the executive team toward the company becoming a global integrated resort and entertainment brand. He comes to MGE from John Buck Company and Kerzner International.
