Jody Madigan has been named chief operating officer for Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE).
MGE President and CEO Ray Pineault commented, “We are pleased to welcome Jody Madigan to our executive leadership team to ensure business strategy alignment and continuity across all of our properties. “With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and casino gaming industry, Jody’s leadership and expertise will contribute to MGE’s continued growth and success.”
As COO Madigan will report directly to Pineault. His responsibilities, according to the company, “will be development and implementation of strategic competitive positioning plans, ensure marketing and operational plans drive profitability, and evaluate success in meeting organizational strategies and financial performance targets.”
One of his main projects will be the integrated resort that MGE is developing in Incheon, South Korea.
Before his promotion, Madigan was general manager of the Paragon Casino and Resort in Louisiana. He replaces Pineault, who was promoted to his current position.
