Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment Tom Cantone has been named to the VenuesNow’s 2019 inaugural All-Stars list. The list singles out the top 50 most influential and innovative leaders in the entertainment industry.
According to VenuesNow, the list “recognizes the 50 top executives who have made their mark in key areas of the entertainment industry and will continue to shape it in the coming years. It also celebrates venues and projects that have caught the industry’s attention in the last year, all as determined by VenuesNow’s editorial team. The criteria used by VenuesNow involves innovation, financial and critical success, leadership in the industry and a demonstrated commitment to excellence.”
Cantone is in charge of the entertainment programs at all MGE properties and has guided its rise as one of the largest producers of live entertainment. He’s a 30-year veteran of the casino entertainment industry, and before coming to MGE worked at Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Sands Hotel & Casino, and Hershey Entertainment & Resort Co., among others.
