Montana Lottery Opens Sports Betting Comments

The Montana Lottery has opened a public comment period on proposed sports betting regulations and set October 28 for a public hearing. Lottery officials said 1,400 vendors could apply for a sports betting license, which would cost just $50 unlike other states' significantly higher fees. There will be no physical sportsbooks, just kiosks and licensed lottery retailers.
