MontBleu in Tahoe to Get $24M Facelift

MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa at Stateline on Lake Tahoe’s south shore will soon begin more than $24 million in renovations to its 437 rooms, casino floor and convention center, owner Tropicana Entertainment has announced.


Tropicana Entertainment, formerly Caesars Tahoe, has announced plans to renovate its MontBleu resort in Lake Tahoe. The million upgrade will include renovations of 36 suites and more than 400 guest rooms. The theme will be a “Scandinavian fantasy” with a contemporary look, reported the Reno Gazette-Journal. The resort’s 45,000-square-foot casino area and convention center will get new carpet, lighting fixtures, and other décor.??

“It’s all about our guests and providing a singular Lake Tahoe experience,” Stephen Ditchkus, general manager, said in a statement. “We’ll be headquarters for combining luxurious hotel amenities with Tahoe’s world famous outdoor recreation and attractions.”
