More Swedish Gambling Licenses Announced

Sweden’s gambling regulator has approved more gambling licenses for operators including Betway, Betclic Everest and the Stars Group. The Stars Group, through its TSG Interactive subsidiary, has been awarded online gaming and sports betting licenses which will allow it to launch sites for its PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, Full Tilt and BetStars brands.

Sweden’s gambling regulator has approved more gambling licenses for operators including Betway, Betclic Everest and the Stars Group.

The Stars Group, through its TSG Interactive subsidiary, has been awarded online gaming and sports betting licenses which will allow it to launch sites for its PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, Full Tilt and BetStars brands.

Betway will offer online casino and sports betting, as will Betclic Everest Group’s Nordic-facing Expekt brand. Malta-based operator Tipwin has also been licensed for sports betting and online casino games.

Sweden has now issued 20 gambling licenses for its new gaming regulations which go into effect January 1.

Operators such as GVC Holdings, Kindred Group, Betsson and LeoVegas have all secured licenses. More licenses are expected to be announced through to the end of the year.
