Online casino firm Mr. Green & Co. has confirmed that it will purchase mybet Italia, furthering its move into Italy.
Since Italian gambling regulator Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato is not issuing new licenses to international gambling operators, companies can only enter the market through acquisitions of existing licensed operators.
Mr Green & Co said it will re-brand all mybet italia operations under the MrGreen.it brand.
