Swedish online gaming operator Mr. Green announced that it has appointed Jesper Kärrbrink as the company’s new CEO, as former chief executive Bo Wänghammar takes on a business development role within the Mr. Green Group.
With a media background, Kärrbrink has held senior positions across a range of sectors. He joins Mr. Green from Euroflorist, where he was CEO and vice chairman.
Kärrbrink was also head of Bonnier’s digital activities and Bonnier weekly magazines, and from 2004 to 2008, he was CEO of Svenska Spel, the state-owned Swedish gaming operator.
“It is exciting to be back in the gaming industry and to be working with one of the industry’s strongest brands,” Kärrbrink said. “I now get the chance to develop an international product offer and strengthen Mr. Green’s position further.”
