Last week, Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, Washington announced the appointment of Tim Perkins as chief executive officer.
Muckleshoot Casino Resort, operated by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, recently opened a new luxury hotel tower with more than 400 guestrooms, an expanded casino floor and a gourmet rooftop steakhouse, Smoke & Cedar, with panoramic views of Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Mountain range and the Seattle skyline. The resort will soon add an indoor pool and spa.
“I’m honored to be associated with The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe and thrilled to join the Muckleshoot Casino Resort at this pivotal moment,” said Perkins in a statement. “I look forward to contributing my experience to further drive the evolution and growth of this amazing property.”
The new CEO previously served as vice president and chief operating officer at Laguna Development Corp., overseeing strategic growth at the company, which manages and operates casinos and hotels in New Mexico. His resume also includes terms as general manager at the Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque and executive director of operations at the Gila River Casino in Chandler, Arizona. Perkins also served in the United States Air Force for more than two decades.
“We’re proud to welcome Tim to the team,” said Junior Maldonado Jr., Muckleshoot Casino Resort executive. “His experience, leadership and disciplined approach will undoubtedly contribute to our continued growth and success.”
