Muckleshoot Selects Bally; Mohegan Sun Adds Bally Tables

Washington’s Muckleshoot Casino will deploy Bally’s iVIEW Display Manager (l.) with Elite Bonusing Suite across more than 3,100 slots. And Bally Technologies has installed the world’s largest single-property table game progressive at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun.

Game and system supplier Bally Technologies announced two developments last week that highlight the strengths of the company following the SHFL entertainment buy.

The company announced that Washington state’s Muckleshoot Casino has selected the company’s suite of networked system products for its casino floor.

Muckleshoot ill deploy Bally’s iVIEW Display Manager (DM) with Elite Bonusing Suite (EBS) across more than 3,100 video gaming machines to provide its guests with player-centric bonusing events including Virtual Racing, U-Spin Bonusing and Virtual Racing NASCAR.

“After a thorough and competitive review process, we determined Bally’s systems solutions were the best fit for our property and patrons, said Muckleshoot Casino General Manager Conrad Granito. “These products enable us to bring extra excitement to our gaming floor with second-chance opportunities and thrilling floor-wide events.”

With iVIEW DM, casino operators can present self-service player-account access, marketing messages and secondary bonus games on the main game screen, without interrupting play. iVIEW DM is backward compatible on most gaming devices with a touch-screen display.

EBS, when combined with iVIEW DM, has been proven to increase coin-in, carded play, new card signups, and time on device at casinos across North America.

The property will also use Bally’s SDS slot-management system; business intelligence application to analyze and visualize data, and Servizio, a suite of mobile service solutions that increases efficiency and enhances services for players.

“We are excited to use Bally’s Business Intelligence solution to exponentially improve our ability to understand our players’ preferences,” Granito said. “In addition, Bally’s Servizio solution, which will put critical game and player data at our employees’ fingertips, will allow us to service our players in a far more effective manner.”

“We are proud that Muckleshoot Casino chose Bally’s systems solutions following a very extensive selection process,” said Bally Technologies CEO Richard Haddrill. “This partnership is recognition that Bally’s unwavering commitment to systems everywhere, and particularly in Washington state, has been appreciated by leading operators such as Muckleshoot Casino.”

And in Connecticut, Bally announced that it has partnered with the Mohegan Sun to create the world’s largest single-property table-game progressive link.

Bally’s new Game Manager 2 software will be used to track progressive jackpots on 43 tables across Mohegan Sun’s three casinos: Casino of the Earth, Casino of the Sky, and Casino of the Wind. The Mohegan Sun upgrade marks the installation of the greatest number of table-game progressives Bally has performed in North America.

Game Manager 2 enables multi-level jackpots and multiple fully configurable reserve pools, allowing players to compete for multiple real-time incrementing meters with just one wager. The product was developed by SHFL entertainment, which was acquired by Bally in November 2013.

“The use of Game Manager 2 represents a significant enhancement from a player perspective,” said Bally Senior Vice President of Table and Utility Products Roger Snow. “Previously, players made a progressive wager that tied to only one jackpot. Players can now win from multiple reserve pools, which elevates the gaming experience by increasing unpredictability and introducing more ways to win across the gaming floor.”

Added Snow, “We’re extremely grateful for all of the hard work Mohegan Sun has done to ensure the success of this partnership. Progressive jackpots on table games not only bring increased excitement to the property, but also can increase profitability for casinos.”
