Slot manufacturer Multimedia Games has released details of what will be its largest-ever display of products at this week’s Global Gaming Expo.
The slot-maker will display 100 unique new games and three new cabinet designs. In addition to the debut of the fully integrated Platinum MPX cabinet and The Texan HDXgiant format, Multimedia will also host the championship round of its unique 2014 National TournEvent of Champions, which will conclude on Wednesday night (October 1) at XS Nightclub at Wynn/Encore Las Vegas, with players competing for a share of $500,000 in cash prizes.
“Our G2E 2014 product lineup will showcase the creative spirit of the entire Austin-based Multimedia Games team while clearly highlighting our ability to deliver our brand of differentiated gaming entertainment to our customers,” said Patrick Ramsey, CEO of Multimedia Games. “We are excited to show customers our most extensive lineup of new products, including 100 unique games, three new cabinet platforms and further updates to our award-winning TournEventslot tournament product.
“In particular, our new cabinets are set to grab players’ attention, bringing an all-new Multimedia Games entertainment experience to casino slot floors. The Platinum MPX is now making its initial debut on casino floors, and at G2E we will roll out exciting new game themes for this immersive gaming cabinet, including Dracula, which we believe highlights the supreme talent and unique imagination of our design teams.
“The Texan HDX, our new unique for-sale or premium participation cabinet, is an eight-foot tall cabinet straight out of the heart of Texas, which we expect will take our growing library of video content to the next level thanks to its twin 42-inch widescreen LCD panels and two-person bench seating. And, our Skylineseries of games elevates the mechanical reel gaming experience by marrying classic slot game styling with interactive lighting and an eye-catching top box.
“Importantly, we are bringing to the Sands Convention & Expo Center a suite of new products that will almost immediately be available to generate returns for our customers’ businesses. The first games on the Skyline and Platinum MPX platforms are appearing on slot floors today while The Texan HDX is expected to launch within the next quarter. In addition, 33 of the 100 new titles on display at G2E 2014 will be available in the next six months, as we have successfully ramped up our ability to create and commercialize new titles.”
New games on display for the Platinum MPX cabinet at G2E 2014 include:
• Dracula – Beautifully rendered artwork brings a modern take to a classic tale in Multimedia Games’ newest standout game. In the showcase three-stage Dracula Bonus, players get a number of picks per stage—including bats, wolves and coffins—with each stage ending in a spin of the wheel. Players pick an object to reveal Dracula (awarding an increased jackpot tier), a Bride of Dracula (boosting credit prizes on the wheel), or a “Spin” symbol (triggers the wheel to spin at the current level).
•The Valkyries – Based on the Norse mythological figures, The Valkyries boosts players’ winning powers through its five-tier linked progressive feature, with the top tier awarded when 14 Jackpot symbols land. The highlight Expanding Reels bonus is triggered as a Valkyrie sends lightning bolts to start the expanding reels, growing up to four additional rows with ten additional paylines per row for a total of 80 paylines.
Skyline will debut at G2E 2014 with four new games: Ultra Mega Meltdown, Canary Diamonds, Glitter Gulch Jackpots and Double Jackpot Gems. The games represent the first in a series of games that will be released regularly and are specifically designed to take full advantage of the visually striking top box.
As the latest addition to the Company’s Mega Meltdown family of games, Ultra Mega Meltdown is an electrifying game that features ten progressive tiers and amplifies the visual excitement created by the eye-catching Skyline top box. Players’ winnings become shocking as winning combinations, including the Ultra Mega Meltdown symbol, land on the reels to award progressive prizes up to 10,000 credits. Canary Diamonds features six progressive tiers, which are awarded when four or more carats of Canary Diamonds land scattered on the reels, with nine carats awarding the top progressive prize.
The Texan HDX cabinet takes the company’s portfolio of video slot content to the next level by bringing the classic look of the Player HD cabinet to a visually stunning jumbo footprint.
There will be 19 games featured on the High Rise cabinet, including The Money Man Big Cash Spinand Super Jackpot Wheel.
“Our team has worked non-stop to create great games, attractive cabinets and a unique nationwide event that demonstrates our commitment to our customers and their players,” said Ramsey. “Multimedia Games’ newest offerings, on display at G2E 2014, deliver on our promise of offering slot players an unmatched entertainment experience, while providing operators with an attractive return on their investment.”
