The Sutter-Yuba County area in Northern California, which has a high unemployment rate is expecting some jobs relief when the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain opens in the fall.
Casino President Mark Birtha told local residents at a job fair at Yuba College, “we are committed to drawing as many people as we can from the local region.”
Human Resources staff Ryan Flieger added “We’re looking for individuals who have a passion for entertaining each other and our guests.”
The casino has also pledged to work with vendors from the local area.
The casino, which is being built by the Enterprise Rancheria in partnership with Hard Rock International, will include a 200-room hotel, bars, meeting spaces and dining.
