NBA TV hosts the NBA’s first live studio show devoted to sports betting this month. The half hour program will run through the first two playoff rounds.
The show highlights NBA Bet, which includes a gambling section on the league’s website and app, and a social media channel tied to gambling through NBA Digital in concert with Turner Sports, according to Sportico.
These avenues not only provide new revenue streams for the league but enhance fan engagement.
NBA Bet will utilize the Warner Media studios in Atlanta, and will be sponsored by BetMGM, which will see its odds and data prevalent during the program. The Action Network will do some programming, Yahoo Sports and Turner-owned Bleacher Report will also develop content.
