The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States released a revised version of its proposed policy framework for online gaming at the Florida Gaming Congress.
The new version was developed after receiving input from a wide variety of interested parties and focuses on issues ranging from player protections to multi-jurisdictional agreements.
The new framework will be voted on at the upcoming NCLGS Winter Meeting, scheduled for January 9 through 11 at Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas.
The council has developed the draft framework to ensure that an effective system is in place for states that allow intrastate Internet gaming and that policy standards are in place to protect citizens in both states, officials said.
