NCPG Names Advisory Board Members

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has created a new Advisory Board whose membership includes leaders in problem gaming, gaming regulation and the industry. Stephen Crosby (l.), the founding chairman of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission will join the board. It will advise the National Council and help raise awareness on new issues.

NCPG Names Advisory Board Members

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has launched a new Advisory Board composed of leaders in the field of problem gambling and responsible gaming to provide advice.

NCPG Executive Director Keith Whyte commented, “The problem and responsible gambling environment in the US is changing rapidly with the continued expansion of casinos, lotteries, and the addition of sports betting. NCPG faces an ever more complex ecosystem of issues to address.” He added, “We are so thankful to and excited for the Advisory Board members to collaboratively guide NCPG in our efforts to raise awareness about problem gambling and increase resources for addressing this important issue.”

The board will be appointed by a majority vote of the NCPG board of directors. It will consist of about ten persons.

The first advisory board includes:

  • Maria-Christina Annaloro, director of government relations & social sciences, Las Vegas Sands
  • Kirsten Clark, executive director, International Association of Gaming Advisors
  • Steven Crosby, founding board chairman, Massachusetts Gaming Commission
  • Don Feeney, president, Northstar Alliance on Problem Gambling and former NCPG board president
  • Maureen Greeley, executive director, Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling and former NCPG board president
  • Martin Lycka, director of regulatory affairs, GVC
  • Reece Middleton, former executive director, Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling
  • Ray Pineault, regional president, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment
  • Richard Schuetz, Schuetz Inc., former commissioner, California Gambling Control Commission
  • Marlene Warner, executive director, Massachusetts Council on Compulsive Gambling and former NCPG board president
