Mobile gaming platform supplier Nektan announced that Leigh Nissim, a former executive of slot-maker International Game Technology, as the London-based company’s new chief executive officer.
Nissim replaces Gary Shaw, who had been serving as interim chief executive of the company since the January announcement of a new role for former chief executive David Sparks. Upon Nissim taking on his new role, Shaw will become director of strategy at the firm.
Nissim had been global commercial director for interactive at IGT and its predecessor company GTECH in London since 2012. He had served as commercial director for GTECH from 2010 to 2012.
