The TropicanaCasino brand, the online gaming services option provided by the Tropicana Casino of Atlantic City, recently partnered with NetEnt, a developer and supplier of online gaming content based in Sweden. NetEnt announced that a selection of its online gaming content is now live and available for customers who visit the Tropicana’s online casino.
NetEnt was successfully able to integrate its gaming content within the existing content of the online gaming site. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement first had to approve the company for a transactional waiver to be allowed to work with the Tropicana. With the transactional waiver, NetEnt was able to launch the online casino games for the online casino while their application to become fully licensed is under review.
NetEnt has had permission since November to provide services for the Tropicana, since signing an agreement with Gamesys US, an operator and gaming developer. After this deal was secured, NetEnt earned the opportunity to partner with major operators offering gambling services in New Jersey.
NetEnt has also launched the much-anticipated Jimi Hendrix online slot, the second entry in its NetEnt Rocks series—or “NetEnt Rocks tour,” as the company calls it.
Following on the heels of Guns N’ Roses—one of NetEnt’s most successful game launches ever—the Jimi Hendrix online slot “gives players the full Purple Haze experience, with iconic graphics and music from the guitar maestro,” according to a statement from the company.
The five-reel, three-row, 20-line video slot includes popular features such as Wild Substitution, Wild Transformation, Re-spins and Pick and Click. Produced in association with the official Hendrix family companies Experience Hendrix, L.L.C. and Authentic Hendrix, LLC, the Jimi Hendrix online slot is an authentic visual and musical homage to Jimi Hendrix featuring some of the guitar legend’s most famous songs including “Foxy Lady,” “Purple Haze,” Crosstown Traffic” and “Little Wing.”
