Netherlands Casinos Reopen After 2-Week Closure

The 14 branches of Holland Casino in the Netherlands reopened November 19 after being closed for two weeks due to Covid-19. Health and safety protocols implemented prior to the shutdown are being followed, such as 30 persons per gaming room. Face masks are mandatory but patrons may remove them once they have settled at a gaming position.

Holland Casino’s 14 branches have reopened November 19 following a 2-week closure due to Covid-19. Strict health and safety restrictions implemented prior to the closure will be followed. A spokesman said, “Wearing a face mask is mandatory when moving through our establishment. As soon as you have taken your seat, you can take off your face mask if you wish.”

The spokesperson added the casinos are divided into several gaming rooms that can hold up to 30 guests each. “Upon entering, we ask you to choose a playroom,” the spokesman said. He added visitors must make a reservation and have a Favorites Card.

Nationwide, restaurants and bars and all catering businesses will remain closed.
