New Flights Coming to Reno

Starting in December 2015, Thomas Cook Airlines will begin three months of biweekly nonstop service from Reno, Nevada to London. The new flights have been established to serve Europeans in search of ski holidays, according to state tourism officials.

Nevada tourism officials report that Reno-Tahoe International Airport will launch nonstop air service to London starting in December 2015. According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, the flights will serve Europeans who want to ski in Northern Nevada.

Thomas Cook is partnering with Ski Lake Tahoe for the twice-weekly flights, which will run mid-December of next year until early April of 2016.

The airport also recently announced direct nonstop flights to and from Guadalajara, Mexico, set to begin in mid-December. Those flights will be run by Mexico-based Volaris Airlines and also will run twice a week.
