Microgaming has taken its Immortal Romance slots games and added a community bingo element.
The new game keeps the core facets of Immortal Romance online slot, including its special features and characters, to create a new hybrid bingo game experience, which promises to energize and enliven the traditional bingo dynamic, the company said in a press release.
Immortal Romance Bingo offers four different themed games, each led by the familiar characters Amber, Troy, Sarah and Michael. Each character brings a number of special, patent-pending features to their individual game, that, when triggered, gives the player the chance to be one step closer to BINGO through free daubs.
“We are constantly striving to deliver innovative, unique software developments that focus on frequent and differentiated player rewards, to ensure that our operators can stand out from the crowd,” says David Reynolds, head of bingo at Microgaming. “Immortal Romance Bingo does exactly this, and we are very proud of what we have created. We believe we have developed a truly unique game experience that fully embraces and pays homage to our Immortal Romance brand that has already proved appealing with the bingo demographic. This is a real game-changer and industry first concept, and we’re very excited about this launch.”
Microgaming has also announced the launch of the slot game Avalon II: The Quest for the Grail. Avalon II is the sequel to one of Microgaming’s longest-standing and most successful titles.
Avalon II takes players on an epic quest to retrieve the Grail, which has been stolen from its secret resting place. Merlin, Arthur, Guinevere and the treacherous Morgan Le Fay are brought to life in 3D along with several other legendary characters. 3D rendered animations, coupled with professional voice acting and an impressive musical score, sets Avalon II apart from any other game in its genre, the company said.
Finally, Microgaming announced it has signed a licensing agreement to develop online slots based on the award-winning and epic HBO television series, Game of Thrones. The show’s intricate plot and fantastical themes will take center stage in Microgaming’s adaptation, set to be released in 2014, the company said.
