New Hampshire lawmakers recently approved a measure that would impose stricter rules on charitable gambling in the state. The bill would require charities to keep and report financial details, and the attorney general to perform more thorough background investigations.

The measure also provides an updated definition of “redemption” slot machines, and clarifies the enforcement authority of the Racing and Charitable Gaming Commission.
