New Jersey Creates Seal of Approval for Online Gambling Sites

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has created an official seal to be displayed on approved online gambling sites in the state. The seal says the site is approved for regulated online play.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is taking some of the guesswork out of online gambling by creating an official seal for sites approved to offer online gambling in the state.

The seal says a site is “Licensed and Regulated” by the state and will be displayed on all licensed sites in the state.

The seal is hoped to help clear up confusion between the state’s approved sites and illegal offshore sites, which often don’t make clear that they are separate from the state’s approved sites. The seal uses the acronym DGE for the division.
