The total of full online gambling licenses issued by the New Jersey Division of Gaming enforcement stands at three with bwin.party, Sportech and CAMS being approved.
The state initially gave online operators conditional transactional waivers to operate when gambling went online in the state in 2013 while the full licensing procedure was underway. The three companies now are fully licensed in the state.
That state approved bwin.party and Sportech Racing, LLC in April.
Bwin.party has been powering both BorgataPoker.com and PartyPoker NJ.
“Receipt of our full license in New Jersey marks an important milestone for our U.S. business,” Norbert Teufelberger, CEO of bwin.party said in a press release, “We believe that the path to regulation across the United States is inevitable and expect that other states will soon follow.”
Sportech Racing handles all the wager processing for the state’s horse racing industry as well as the state’s advance deposit wagering service for iGaming. Sportech’s Mt. Laurel New Jersey operations center processes over $11 billion worth of bets per year for customer from the United States, South America, Canada and the Caribbean, the company said in a release.
Central Account Management System, or CAMS. CAMS provides account management and protection services for New Jersey, including geolocation, payment and customer verification services. The company did not actually need to apply for a full license, but did so to show a commitment to the state’s online gambling industry, officials for the company said.
