New Las Vegas Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan resigned from the board of directors of Caesars Entertainment. She was named to the board in November and announced as the Raiders’ president in early July.

New Las Vegas Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan recently resigned from the Caesars Entertainment board of directors, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

According to the filing, Morgan’s departure “was not the result of any disagreement with Caesars Entertainment on any matter relating to the company’s operations, policies or practices.”

Morgan was appointed as an independent director of Caesars Entertainment’s board in November.

She was announced as the Las Vegas Raiders’ president in early July. Morgan also is the former chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
