Last week, Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico celebrated the grand opening of its latest sportsbook. The resort partnered with USBookmaking on the new venue, where guests can wager on U.S. and international sports including the NFL, NBA, UFC, PGA, NASCAR, British Premier League and more.

“We’re excited to unveil the best sports betting facility in the State of New Mexico, complete with a full-service bar, exciting viewing area, and the all-new Isleta Food Court next door,” said Isleta CEO Harold Baugus. “There’s no other location in the Albuquerque area to wager on your favorite teams while enjoying such an outstanding and engaging great gaming environment.”

Isleta’s new facility features a bar, 50 televisions with a lounge area, four betting kiosks and quick access to the food court. It replaces a temporary facility that opened at the casino in August.

“We’re excited to unveil the best sports betting facility in the state of New Mexico, complete with a full-service bar, exciting viewing area and the all-new Isleta Food Court next door,” said Isleta Resort & Casino CEO Harold Baugus in a statement.

Las Vegas-based USBookmaking to run its sports betting. Glendale, Arizona-based Nez FCI and Albuquerque-based Buffalo Design were the project’s general contractor and architect, respectively.

The sportsbook is part of a $40 million renovation of the casino which included a new food court. Isleta said the sportsbook and food court collectively had a price tag of about $4.5 million.

Route 66 Casino Hotel unveiled its sportsbook and sports bar in August. Isleta and Route 66 join the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino, Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel and Buffalo Thunder to offer sports betting.

The Pueblo of Isleta generated a $102.26 million net win in 2018, ranked No. 2 on Business First’s List of New Mexico Tribal Casinos.
