New Top Chef for Caesars in Las Vegas

Eric Vaughn, an 18-year Caesars veteran, has been promoted to head all the company’s culinary operations in the city. His responsibilities will include all food service at the massive new Caesars Forum convention complex.

Caesars Entertainment has promoted long-time company executive Eric Vaughn to the position of director of Las Vegas Culinary Operations.

Vaughn has been with Caesars 18 years, rising from an executive sous chef to direct culinary operations at Paris Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood, overseeing 75 chefs and nearly 500 cooks. During that time, he also opened and operated restaurants by celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Steve Martorano.

In his new role, Vaughn also will oversee all banquet and food service for the 550,000-square-foot Caesars Forum convention center slated to open in March on the Las Vegas Strip.

“Eric is a true professional, very talented and has longevity with Caesars Entertainment,” said Don Ross, the company’s vice president of meeting operations for Las Vegas. “His extraordinary skills will be a great asset with the opening of Caesars Forum.”
