New Virgin Hotel Opens in San Francisco

Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, which operates several casinos, recently opened a non-casino hotel in San Francisco. It’s part of a string of unique, unconventional hotels that will form a string from New Orleans to New York and to Edinburgh. In Las Vegas, the company will re-brand the Hard Rock casino into a Virgin hotel casino.

The new hotel has some rooms with floor to ceiling windows that give spectacular view of the City by the Bay. The rooms are well designed to use the space wisely. They have a minibar and refrigerator that offer drinks and snacks for the same prices you would pay for them in a local retail. They also offer Hugh Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee, which donates profits to help farmers in coffee-growing areas.

The brand is also served in the hotel’s Funny Library Coffee Shop, which opens onto the street and invites the public to surf the internet on their computers while sipping a cup.

The hotel’s restaurant offers trendy California cuisine from chef Adrian Garcia. There is also a rooftop bar named Everdene, which offers cocktails named Love, Honor and Betrayal.
