New York Racino Completes Renovation Phase

New York’s Hamburg Gaming unveiled the first phase in a $7 million renovation plan that is the property’s first major upgrade since a project completed in 2010.

Hamburg Fairgrounds Gaming & Raceway, the Delaware North-managed racetrack casino near Buffalo and Niagara Falls, New York, unveiled the first phase of a million renovation designed to compete with neighboring Seneca Niagara resort. The property revealed new carpeting and 900 new gaming chairs in the fist phase.

The next phase of the renovation, to be completed by the end of 2018, will include a new lighting scheme, removal of the buffet and new restaurants including a brew pub featuring locally brewed craft beer and a bar adjacent to the gaming floor. A performance stage now in the bar area on the gaming floor will be moved to the rear of the floor.
