Rivers Casino & Resort at Mohawk Harbor, operated by Rush Street Gaming, will see Mary Cheeks as its General Manager. Rush owns Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia, where Cheeks currently serves as CFO and senior vice president of finance.
Cheeks brings with her over 30 years of experience in the gambling industry, with heavy experience in casino finance. She cut her teeth in the mid 80’s in Atlantic City’s Resorts International Casino & Hotel as an auditor. In a statement, Cheeks said, “I am eager to make Schenectady my home, and I’m excited about opening Rivers Casino at Mohawk Harbor.
