Newport World Resorts operator Travellers International Hotel Group Inc. (TIHGI) has announced the appointment of a new chief financial officer, Laurence Hawke, onetime group CFO of Hoiana Resort & Golf in Vietnam. Hauke will assume his new position on July 8.
He is part of a new lineup in the C suite at Newport World, joining new Chief Executive Officer Nilo Rodriguez and new Chief Operating Officer Lance Gautreaux.
They replaced former CEO Kingson Sian, former COO Hakan Dagtas and former CFO Bernard Than, all of whom left on June 1.
IAG called Hawke a veteran of the Asian integrated resort industry with experience in gaming and non-gaming corporate finance.
