The Macau government’s Financial Intelligence Office said 1,663 suspicious financial transactions were reported in the first nine months of 2020, a decrease of 20 percent from last year. The Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering stated in a 2019 report that the self-governing Chinese territory was making good progress in addressing its anti-money laundering “deficiencies.” • The Mohegan Sun has partnered with Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to host its men’s Tip-Off Tournament and Women’s Challenge and others on tribal land annually. Greg Procino, vice president of basketball operations for the Hall of Fame, stated “It’s a single site, secluded location, with enormous square footage for social distancing. There are a lot of things that will work in our favor.”
