Melco Resorts & Entertainment has revealed it will move into the post-Covid era with around 2,000 fewer full-time Macau employees than in 2019. Vice President and CFO Geoff Davis said Melco is looking to pay down US$7.9 billion in debt. ● Formula One has announced that crews have started construction on some of the temporary structures that will be used for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in mid-November. The race’s Vice President of Event Operations, Vanessa Anthes, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the plan is to tackle one zone per month until the race. The first zone will start construction June 5, with other zones scheduled for July 5, August 1 and September 5. After the race is completed, it is expected to take about two months to disassemble all the structures. ● The town of Littleton, New Hampshire held an information meeting to discuss the possibility of a charitable casino opening on its Main Street. The proposed casino development would be located at a property that is currently home to a Staples store just outside the downtown area. It would have up to 25 gaming tables and more than 150 slot-style machines, reports WCAX. G2 Gaming, the company behind the proposal, estimates profits could be as high as $2 million a year. As per New Hampshire law, part of that win would be earmarked for charities.
