More than 1 million tourists visited Macau during the Easter and Ching Ming holidays, up 75 percent from 2023 and reflecting the ongoing surge in visitation since the city reopened in January 2023. The vast majority of visitors came from Mainland China, with about 16 percent from Hong Kong, 2 percent from Taiwan and 4 percent from other countries.
