Macau casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group has announced Capella Hotels and Resorts as its partner in a new luxury hotel tower at Galaxy Macau. The 17-story hotel, the eighth at the resort complex, is due to open in mid-2025. It will offer 36 villas and 57 “jungle-themed” suites by French design house Moinard-Bétaille. ● Bloomberry Resorts Corp., which operates the Solaire Resort in Manila’s Entertainment City, has settled a long-running dispute with Global Gaming Asset Management, buying back 920 million of its own shares. In 2013, Bloomberry hired GGAM to provide technical services at Solaire and also bring in VIPs, but fired the William Weidner-owned company after it failed to do so. ●
