NIGA Mid-Year Conference Set for Pechanga

The National Indian Gaming Association will host its 2021 Mid-Year Conference & Expo November 15-17 at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA.

After a one-year hiatus, the mid-year event returns as a fall event for the tribal gaming community to learn, network, and share ideas on today’s most important topics in gaming. The 2021 conference will take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with events including but not limited to education sessions, commissioner’s certification, exhibitor and sponsor booths, the NIGA annual meeting, receptions and networking events.

The mid-year comes on the heels of the industry’s first major in-person event, the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, which took place in July in Las Vegas. The event was a great success, with attendance almost reaching pre-pandemic levels, but more importantly, great feedback on how important the connections and content were.

The conference and expo will have a comprehensive schedule planned to welcome tribal leaders, member tribes and commercial operators back together and keep them informed on trending issues in the gaming industry. Conference Chairman Victor Rocha, editor of Pechanga.net and president of Victor Strategies, will be building a diverse education program covering important topics.

NIGA reported that it will work to ensure the safety of all attendees, exhibitors and staff. The event will follow the guidelines issued by the CDC, California and local officials. NIGA is working hand-in-hand with Pechanga officials to create a safe and productive business environment.
