NIGA Recognizes Everi for ‘Everi Cares’

The “Everi Cares Giving Module,” which allows players to donate change from cash-out tickets to charity via its redemption kiosks, was recognized by the National Indian Gaming Association.

The National Indian Gaming Association has recognized gaming supplier Everi Holdings as Associate Member of the Year for the “Every Cares Giving Module,” a feature in Everi ticket redemption kiosks at the properties of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma.

“Everi Cares” gives players the option to donate spare change from cash-out tickets to one of several charities, giving operators a new avenue to promote corporate social responsibility and support their communities while lessening ticket abandonment and coins dispensed. When redeeming a ticket, customers are prompted to donate to one or more charities, selected by the property from a vetted list of nonprofit organizations.

The Chickasaw Nation has deployed the Giving Module at 19 of their properties. On a national scale, more than 3 million donations have been made via the Giving Module, collecting more than $500,000 for local and national charities. More than 200 Everi kiosks throughout the U.S. are currently equipped with the module.
