NIGC’s Dustin Thomas Given Award

The compliance director of the National Indian Gaming Commission, Dustin Thomas, will be awarded the 2018 40 Under 40 Award by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development. He was recognized for his “leadership, initiative and dedication.”

National Indian Gaming Commission Compliance Director Dustin Thomas has been named the 2018 winner of the 40 Under 40 Award, which is given by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, which began the awards ten years ago.

Recipients are nominated by members of the communities where they have demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication. Thomas will receive the award October 29-30 at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

NIGC Chairman Jonedev Chaudhuri praised Thomas, “All of us here at the NIGC are grateful for all that Mr. Thomas does for our team and all of Indian Country,” adding, “This Award recognizes young Native American and Alaska Native leaders and we are proud to see Dustin receive this prestigious award.”

Thomas commented, “I’ve been fortunate to work with exceptional teams and to learn from great leaders and industry experts; I hope to continue doing great work for Indian Country.”
