No Word on Bingo’s Return to CA

Although tribal casinos in California have been open for more than a month, bingo hasn’t returned to any of them.

It’s the least profitable of casino games, and so it is the last to return as yet.

At Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, a spokesman told the Press-Enterprise that bingo would be part of the final phase of reopening, along with bowling. Both games have the largest amount of surfaces to clean.

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa said it is looking for the safest protocols to bring bingo back and no date has been set.

Ciara Green, spokesman for Pechanga Resort Casino, wrote: “We miss bingo as much as you, but unfortunately we have no immediate plans to reopen at this time.”
