Nominations for 2022 Gaming Hall of Fame Class Now Open

Nominations for the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) 2022 Gaming Hall of Fame class are officially open from now through 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, May 27.

The pool of potential candidates will be reviewed by the AGA’s panel of gaming industry experts and executives, and this year’s inductees will be announced later on this summer. They will be inducted during an invite-only ceremony at G2E Las Vegas on October 11.

Nominations should include all contact information as well as a small 500-word excerpt as to why the candidate deserves induction to the prestigious club. Inductees are chosen based on their career achievements as well as their overall contributions to the gaming community and industry.

Considered by many to be the pinnacle of achievement in the gaming-entertainment industry, the Gaming Hall of Fame has elected over 60 members since its inaugural class in 1989. Notable inductees include Steve Wynn, Sheldon Adelson and William Boyd.

Over the years, the Hall has expanded its reach to include accomplished entertainers and even chefs, such as Frank Sinatra, Wolfgang Puck and Emeril Lagasse.
