North Dakota Casino Aims to be Destination

Over the years the 4 Bears Casino & Lodge near Minot, North Dakota has been moving towards its goal of becoming a true tourist destination. The facility opened 24 years ago and has been making improvements ever since.

The 4 Bears Casino & Lodge, near Minot, North Dakota is continuing to aim to sell itself to a larger audience as a destination.

The small resort has been hosting entertainment such as Styx, Foreigner and Dwight Yoakam and Mixed Martial Arts and UFC battles.

The Minot Daily News recently quoted casino General Manager Patrick Packineau, who declared, “We’re striving to be the destination resort and entertainment capital of western North Dakota. I believe we’re definitely stepping up to the challenge by offering high quality entertainment and services at a good price.”

The casino and lodge, which opened 24 years ago, went from a casino with 40 rooms to a resort with an events center, fine dining and a hotel with more than 200 rooms. The

And, of course, the casino offers black jack, roulette, three-card pokers and many types of slot machine.

The events center hosts rising country stars and well-known rock bands. Says Packineau, “The concert experience here is truly something you have to see and we offer a safe, secure and comfortable location with high quality sound.” The GM says there are no bad seats.
