The Las Vegas Sands Corp. has paid $21.55 million for two office buildings and a garage in Las Vegas where it will site its new corporate headquarters.
The offices are located on Durango Drive near Hacienda Avenue, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
In March, Sands announced its decision to exit the Strip and focus on its Asian properties. In a $6.5 billion deal, it sold the Venetian, Palazzo and former Sands Expo and Convention Center to Apollo Global Management and VICI Properties. At the time, Sands Chairman and CEO Rob Goldstein said, “Asia remains the backbone of this company and our developments in Macau and Singapore are the center of our attention.”
Las Vegas Sands spokesman Ron Reese said the company will move in sometime in 2022.
