Novomatic CEO Stepping Down

Novomatic Group has announced that Franz Wohlfahrt will resign his position as general manager and CEO of the company effective September 30.

Austria’s Novomatic Group of Companies announced that Franz Wohlfahrt will step down from his position as general manager and CEO of the manufacturer/operator effective September 30. Wohlfahrt, who has held the position since joining the company in 2004, will continue to serve as a consultant and co-partner of the supervisory board.

Harald Neumann, who is currently responsible for major investment companies and international gambling projects at Novomatic, will replace the Wohlfahrt as general manager and CEO.

Neumann will be appointed as the new chairman of the board on October 1.
