Novomatic Launches Catalonia System

Novomatic Lottery Solutions has launched an omni-channel solution for the Catalonian lottery, allowing customers to buy tickets wherever they are.

Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS) has successfully launched its leading omni-channel lottery system for Loteria de Catalunya.

The solution integrates the Catalonian lottery’s sales network across retail, internet and mobile, giving customers access to its products from any channel. On April 1, the NLS lottery system went online connecting the ‘lottery’s entire retail estate using the most modern point-of-sale devices and telecommunications infrastructure.

The system supports all of the existing games as well as new scratch-card games that were specifically developed by the local team for the local market.

“This is part one of a two-stage delivery,” explained Miriam Lindhorst, CEO of NLS. “In phase two, we will deliver the full omni-channel experience. After the summer, the lottery’s customers will be able to play Loto Rapid from their mobile phones while traveling on the bus, or buy La Grossa with a simple click from their tablet or PC.
