On May 1 the sports betting subsidiary of Novomatic opened the new Admiral Arena Prater Sportsbar in Vienna’s Viennese Prater amusement park. The property will deliver the “next level in sports betting and entertainment,” said Admiral officials.
The two-story venue covers 1,350 square meters (more than 14,500 square feet). It has an American sports bar motif and will include more than 70 betting terminals and 42-square-meter LED wall that will project sports broadcasts throughout the day. Developed by Novomatic’s software division, the LED wall can also be split into many different screens.
”This means that, for instance, all Champions League games playing at the same time can be broadcast together. This broadcasting possibility is unique in Europe,” said Harald Neumann, chairman of Novomatic.
The Admiral Prater Sportsbar also features a Red Bull Racing Seat high-def simulation game and a menu that includes “Austrian delights” and “U.S. classics,” the company states.
