Novomatic to Develop ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ Slots

Novomatic has entered into a licensing agreement with Miramax to produce a series of slot games based on the 1996 Quentin Tarantino film From Dusk Till Dawn.

Austrian gaming supplier Novomatic AG announced it has entered into a licensing agreement with Miramax for the rights to produce a series of games based on the 1996 crime and horror film and current television series From Dusk Till Dawn.

Novomatic plans to introduce its first From Dusk Till Dawn slot game on the Novostar VIP III and VIP Lounge cabinets during next week’s Global Gaming Expo.

From Dusk Till Dawn is a cult film that has regained attention due to its 20-year anniversary,” said Thomas Graf, Novomatic chief technology officer. “We are very pleased to be partnering with Miramax on this great brand, and are excited to combine our world-class gaming technology with this distinguished film and bring it to casino players around the world.”

Novomatic had record sales in the six months to June 30. The firm reported revenue of approximately EUR1.22 billion (US$1.46 billion) for the first half of 2017, up by 11.3 percent in year-on-year terms, it said last month.
