A four-level Gold Megapozo Jackpot has been implemented by Novomatic Group subsidiary Crown Gaming in Peru, the first of its kind in the country. The Wide Area Progressive Jackpot covers the majority of Crown Gaming’s electronic casino operations with 12 locations in Lima and will soon incorporate Chimbote, Chiclayo, Chincha and Huacho.
Crown Gaming hosts a total of 16 electronic casinos under the Admiral and Liberty brands. The progressive jackpot theme is Ancient Giants, which is based on the accounting, control and progressive casino management system of Novomatic’s Octavian de Argentina.
Since its inception, the Megapozo jackpot has been won twice. The first win netted €11,503 and the second, €4,060.
“The result of the Megapozo Wide Area Progressive implementation has been totally satisfactory, showing an increase of nine percent on the average bets in the participating operations. In a next step, we will also implement the jackpot in the remaining four electronic casinos, as well, in order to achieve a further increase on the average bets and to also have more lucky jackpot winners, Crown Gaming’s General Manager Lawrence Levy said.
